When to Use This Connection

Use this connection when the user:

• Wants to give AI assistants access to enterprise sales collateral during customer meetings
• Needs to reference customer requirement documents in real-time during demo calls
• Seeks to leverage battle cards and case studies stored in SharePoint for meeting support
• Plans to enable quick search and document sharing within Demodesk during meetings
• Wants to keep Demodesk AI informed about full document library for contextualized support

What This Connection Does

Navigate to Settings > Integrations > SharePoint in your Demodesk dashboard at https://demodesk.com/manage/settings/integrations/sharepoint. Authenticate with your Microsoft 365 account to grant Demodesk access to your SharePoint document libraries.

Once authenticated, configure which SharePoint document libraries Demodesk's AI assistant should have access to. During customer meetings, the AI assistant can search and reference documents from these libraries to answer prospect questions, provide relevant case studies, or reference requirements documents in real-time.

For example, if a prospect asks "Do you work with companies in insurance?" the AI can search your case studies library, find relevant insurance customer examples, and reference them immediately without interrupting the meeting flow. If a prospect references their RFP document, Demodesk can read that requirement file from SharePoint and cross-reference it with your product capabilities during the demo.

Configure document sharing permissions to control which libraries are accessible. You can also set up document templates so Demodesk can quickly generate proposal attachments, follow-up collateral, or solution briefs from your standard templates and share links back to SharePoint.

Anti-Pattern: "Grant Access to All SharePoint Libraries" Do not enable Demodesk AI access to your entire SharePoint environment. Restrict access to sales-specific libraries (collateral, case studies, pricing, battlecards) and exclude confidential areas (HR documents, financial statements, product roadmaps). Broad access creates security risks and adds noise to AI searches.
