• Wants to install the Demodesk Outlook add-in for in-client meeting intelligence

What This Connection Does

Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Microsoft Outlook in your Demodesk dashboard at https://demodesk.com/manage/settings/integrations/microsoft-outlook. Authenticate with your Microsoft 365 account.

Once authenticated, install the Demodesk Outlook add-in from Microsoft AppSource. The add-in brings Demodesk intelligence directly into the Outlook interface, making meeting preparation and post-call actions seamless within your email client.

Configure email tracking to capture engagement metrics (opens, clicks, reply time) for all customer conversations. Calendar event sync complements the Google Calendar integration, allowing you to pull meeting context from multiple calendar sources. Demodesk will generate AI-powered follow-up email drafts that appear as suggested replies in Outlook, ready for your review and send.

All communication data syncs with proper handling of enterprise compliance requirements, including DLP policies, data retention rules, and security controls.

Anti-Pattern: "Sync All Calendar Events to Demodesk" Do not enable calendar sync for every meeting on your calendar. Sync only customer-facing sales meetings to keep Demodesk focused on deal-relevant intelligence. Syncing internal team meetings, personal time blocks, and administrative holds creates clutter and unnecessary data processing. Configure sync rules to filter by calendar or meeting attendee type.
