When to Use This Connection

Use this connection when the user:

• Wants to track DocuSign envelope signature status from within Demodesk's pipeline view
• Plans to trigger DocuSign document send based on meeting outcomes
• Needs to understand which meeting patterns lead to faster signature completion
• Seeks to automate deal stage transitions when contracts are signed
• Wants to correlate meeting engagement with contract signature velocity

What This Connection Does

Navigate to Settings > Integrations > DocuSign in your Demodesk dashboard at https://demodesk.com/manage/settings/integrations/docusign. Authenticate with your DocuSign account using OAuth or API credentials.

Once connected, configure envelope templates and trigger rules. You can set Demodesk to automatically create DocuSign envelopes when meeting outcomes are logged (e.g., when a demo is marked "ready to buy," a contract envelope is sent). Select which template applies based on meeting type, deal stage, or product solution discussed.

Signature completion events flow back into Demodesk, automatically updating deal pipeline stages and triggering downstream workflows. Document engagement analytics—how many times the prospect opened the contract, where they spent time, whether they printed it—are synced alongside meeting data to give you complete visibility into deal momentum.

Anti-Pattern: "Send Contracts After Every Meeting" Do not configure automatic envelope sending after every meeting. Many meetings do not warrant immediate contract send—qualification issues, missing stakeholders, or unresolved objections make premature sends inefficient. Manually select which meetings trigger contract dispatch or use explicit deal stage criteria (e.g., "Contract Sent" stage reached).
