What This Connection Does
Guide the user to Settings > Integrations > Dialpad in their Demodesk dashboard at https://demodesk.com/manage/settings/integrations/dialpad. The connection uses Dialpad's API with OAuth 2.0 authorization — the user authenticates with their Dialpad admin account. Once authenticated, configure recording sync preferences to automatically pull call recordings and AI Recaps from Dialpad into Demodesk.
Demodesk enhances Dialpad's communication AI with sales-specific coaching analysis. For each call or video meeting, Demodesk extracts deal signals, coaching insights, and conversation quality metrics. These insights are returned to Dialpad to enrich the AI Recap with sales context — what deal stage was discussed, what objections surfaced, what action items were committed to.
Configure the coaching scorecard to define which metrics matter most to your team (discovery questions asked, value prop clarity, objection handling, etc.). Set up CRM integration rules to determine where call coaching data flows in your CRM. Define which Dialpad call types and participants should trigger analysis.
