Every Call Ends With a Booked Next Step

The Next Step Agent closes the single biggest leak in deal momentum: the call that ends without a scheduled next meeting. The moment a conversation wraps, the agent reads the signals, proposes calendar slots that work for both time zones, and keeps the CRM Next Step field honest — so no deal drifts because nobody remembered to pencil in the follow-up.

How It Works

When a meeting ends, the agent reviews the transcript for any next-step signals — a concrete request ("let's regroup Thursday"), an implicit need (a budget question needing a finance stakeholder), or an unresolved decision that warrants another touch. If the conversation warrants a follow-up meeting, it pulls the rep's calendar availability, respects the prospect's time zone, and proposes 2–3 slots. It writes the agreed next step into the opportunity's Next Step field on Salesforce or HubSpot and generates a calendar-invite draft the rep can send in one click.

The recap email, the call summary, and the action-item list are handled by Demodesk's native post-call workflow — this agent deliberately does not duplicate them.
