One Source of Truth for Co-Sell, Across Every Partner Portal
If you sell through AWS Marketplace, GCP, Azure, and HubSpot Connect, you have four partner portals plus Salesforce — and reconciling co-sell opportunities across them is a part-time job. The Co-Sell Pipeline Sync Agent runs the sync. Every hour, it reads the partner portals, joins against Salesforce, and writes any new or updated co-sell opportunity to a Salesforce co-sell custom object so the AE works from one source of truth. Conflicts (same account in two portals, different stages) are flagged to the partnership team rather than silently overwritten.
How It Works
The agent connects to each enabled partner portal via API. Hourly, it pulls all open co-sell opportunities, joins each against Salesforce by account domain, and updates or creates a record in the co_sell_opportunity custom object. Status changes propagate both ways: when an AE updates the Salesforce record, the agent writes the update back to the originating partner portal. When two portals show the same account at different stages, the agent flags the conflict to the partnership-team Slack channel without auto-resolving.
